New Stagers are taking on the Rocky Monster Show,
descendant is a former pop-star who is now a professor of genetics.

Beattie Slavin reports. This take off of all your favourite horror movies is a riotous comedy. With elements of the Addams Family, Frankenstein, Dracula, Phantom of the Opera, and the Rocky Horror Show the 28 New Stagers, who range in age from 11 to 16, have been working hard since May coming to grips with their lines, the musical numbers and choreography. There are big dance numbers including rock ‘n’ roll routines, and catchy original music.
Baron Frankenstein’s
a castle and feared by the villagers, he makes moulds of people to form the ultimate rock group, led by a clone of Elvis himself, and how they come to life is the highlight of the hysterical plot.

The Young Cast
This show has a fun filled pantomime feel, and is a ghosty and ghoulie packed affectionate send up. Suitable for children and adults of all ages, it would be a catastrophe to miss this high- energy musical extravaganza. Anyone can join the New Stagers, but it is so popular that there is a two year waiting list. They recruit on energy and enthusiasm and provide grounding in the discipline and history of the theatre. The New Stagers are an integral part of Bob Hope Theatre.
