THE VIEW FROM THE DARTMOUTH OFFICE
A lot happened in June on, in, above and around the River Dart. Much of it was recorded and can be seen on
TheViewFromTheDartmouthOffice.com website where every single picture is shot from the same spot - right outside Andy & Helen Kyle’s office.
If you know of something upcoming that’s worthy of “The View” let Andy know with an email to

Our resident ducks Harold and Hilda put on an impressive flying display today. At least six low flying runs from Warfleet along Above Town and then immaculate Immelmann turns over St Saviours. They looked mildly frantic, but not ungraceful in the air. How come then, that when landing on our lawn they utilise an extra limb. Their beak.
17 June 2011 6:32 PM It was wet and it was darn cold. But as the cruise ship Le Diamant departed Friday evening, there was one girl who wasn’t going to let a little bit of English summer spoil her cruise. Impressive.

A lifeboat shout used to always be exciting (even if this did turn out to be a false alarm). Perhaps someone might like to tell the trippers on the Dart Explorer that.
15 June 2011 6:49 PM If it is a race, one of them is in trouble! ▲ 11 June 2011 9:22 PM Never twice the same. A bit of a gem.
Now officially known as Kimpa the chick is up and running. But just take a dekko at those plates of meat. She’ll never get Nike’s to fit. It’ll have to be Clark’s in a wide fit.
