24th July DARTMOUTH TOWN CRIER COMPETITION Dartmouth OH YEZ, oh yez. The town criers’ competition is coming back to Dartmouth. The competition is being run in conjunction with two competitions in Kingsbridge the day before arranged to coincide with that town’s carnival parade. The Dartmouth competition of town crier ‘shouts’ will involved town criers from all over the country including one from St George in Bermuda.


CAFE ALF-RESCO RALLIES TO REGATTA TENNIS TOURNAMENT The 43rd Tennis Tournament is to be sponsored by Cafe Al-Fresco, as part of the annual regatta events, the Tournament attracts entrants from all over the country as well as the South West. The tournament runs from 22nd August with Finals on Saturday 27th. A full programme of Open events are scheduled including U16 juniors playing with parent or grandparent.


Locals can enter the Closed tournament as well, with preliminary rounds on 7th/8th August again a full programme of events.
