Wimbledon is upon us and already the centre court roof has had its legs stretched as the rain came down on one of the first days of the tournament. The steel structure, fully retractable and
made out of translucent recycled fabric, is almost as famous as the players who compete beneath it. Populous (Formerly known as HOK Sport) were the architects behind the creation and every year must get a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that they are protecting our tennis greats from postponing play on the courts. It seems that the Chelsea Barracks scheme is finally set to go ahead after plans laid out by Michael Squire and Dixon

Jones have been approved. The more traditional design concept will keep the Grade II listed chapel onsite and will also include 448 residences, a leisure centre, health facilities and a number of shops and eateries. It’s good to see this development finally getting underway after Lord Rogers’ plans were stalled by Prince Charles. Hopefully everyone will appreciate this new design. Altro came to visit on Wednesday 15th June with their newly fitted out bus, showcasing their range of flooring and wallcoverings products. Altro have really got it spot on with this mobile exhibition stand as we all got to experience the floor and wall coverings first hand inside the bus and chat about their latest ranges,
