A family affair


Gledhill Building Products, the cylinder specialists, has announced the appointment of family member Chris Gledhill to the newly created post of Lean Manufacturing director at its Blackpool HQ in a major organisational restructure. Chris, the son of Houghton Gledhill, one of two brothers who founded the business in the 1970’s, has taken up his new role after 25 years in the family business. During his time at the company Chris has worked in a range of areas including transport, purchasing and production. Most recently he has completed ten-years with the sales team and represents three generations of the Gledhill family working in the business today. The move comes after massive expansion and development in Gledhill’s Stainless Steel manufacturing facility.
