combined with our powerful BOSE® sound system and a choreography of emotive lighting, and visual cues, that empower operators with multiple ways to dynamically change the player’s experience while immersing players in a unique and exciting gaming experience.

Do you use LEDs to make the interactive emotive lighting? LEDs are certainly a component of our emotive lighting solutions but our lighting is a wonderful marriage of arts and sciences. We believe that there is a lot to communicate while enjoying one of our games and many ways to celebrate a player’s experience. Our emotive lighting found on our Bluebird xD allows us to take the celebration beyond the game screen, onto the rest of the slot machine and across the entire bank of machines to really promote large, meaningful wins. This type of celebration is really powerful and required us to reinvent the way slot machines communicate with each other. It is all these parts of the technology chain allow us unite lights and sounds across a bank in new and wonderful ways to the enjoyment of the player.

What are you doing to combine High Definition Video with Slot Machines? We have been pushing the boundaries of high definition and full-screen animation/video since we launched the Bluebird in 2003. For WMS, we believe in creating an environment for providing a fully immersive gaming experience is key and high def video is one powerful component.

Do you design or develop any games using Computer Assisted Design systems? If so, what games and how has it worked? Everything we physically build from cabinets to top box games require us to design and develop within a CAD system. It is how we provide the blueprints for manufacturing and our partners to build these products. We use a wide variety of tools to create the games we produce including leveraging 3D tools for building the scenes and characters in our 3D games to Artificial Intelligence solutions to provide a dynamic range of outcomes for the real-time gaming experiences we create.
