hat is the company’s overall approach to technological development and innovation?

From a technology standpoint, our overriding goal is to become rapid adopters and adapters of new technology, for the benefit of our customers, and for the consumers who play at their facilities.

By this, we mean that we are using research- based foresight to embrace emerging technologies, but more critically, we are integrating those technologies into gaming- based products. This requires being fully engaged in understanding emerging technology and how players are responding to it. Rather than invest exorbitant resources in being technological pioneers, we are integrating innovations in ways that will suit operators’ needs and players’ desires. We understand what’s happening now, we’re applying its benefits to the gaming industry, and we’ll make it happen fast.

Smartphone and mobile device apps are an obvious example of how we’ll be executing this approach, and we plan to share some exciting new developments in these areas very soon. Scale is a huge part of this strategy. For me, this is about customisation, personalisation, and bringing superior value and pricing to the customer’s operation. So, rather than spending time building and promoting huge, high-cost,

monolithic systems, we are developing quick, scaled solutions that respond to individual issues. This agility subsequently helps our customers to be nimble when addressing their players’ desires and creating a superior gaming experience.
