Other than the aspects of the sensys EP platform you’ve just outlined, what are the other reasons for OXYGEN’s success? We’re very excited about the OXYGEN™ Upright and Slant Top cabinets. They offer an innovative approach to performance-driven features that operators and players want. We wanted an attractive package that appeals to players, and our designers have created an elegant exterior. Reliability and innovation were also a critical element in the engineering. We recognize the importance of open industry standards, which is why OXYGEN features Game to System® (G2S®) compatible hardware, so it’s network-gaming ready, and supports all major casino systems and player tracking modules. We’ve also heightened the entertainment value in these new cabinets with dual 22-inch TFT screens, and advanced ergonomics – for instance, the upright cabinet features a simplified button board that players really appreciate.
ATRONIC’s System solutions have been installed in more than 60 countries. What are the benefits that operators gain from incorporating it in their casinos? Operators benefit greatly from the careful balance ATRONIC Systems has achieved between standard technology and customized modules.
When we say “standard,” what we mean is that the building blocks of our software - the source code for each deployed system -- is identical, whether it’s operating in a casino in Europe, Latin America, or anywhere else in the world. This consistency brings great stability to the product. It also means that we can easily adopt best practices to our system, so that any challenges we’ve solved for one customer can be applied to all other customers if they desire them. Yet, while every system is based on a standard code, our range of STAR|Modules means that we can customize special features to suit individual customers’ specific needs. No two gaming operations are identical in the way they operate, which is why we offer many different configurations so the system can be tailored to our customers’ diverse needs. Another significant benefit customers
experience is our leadership in Wide Area Progressives (WAPs). We are among the world’s largest WAP providers, and that scale and experience has translated into top-performing, turnkey WAP systems that integrate seamlessly with cabinets from a wide range of manufacturers. Our WAPs have been designed to operate using the widest range of gaming machine protocols, including the latest cabinets, as well as legacy machines.
In fact, we harmonize the floor with whatever EGMs and features our customers have, and our solutions interface with any slot machine that supports standard machine protocols. We already have solutions that are compatible with machines running on the G2S messaging protocol. Unlike our major competitors, ATRONIC Systems has the agility and flexibility to stay ahead of changes in this fast-moving market. We are quick to install, and quick to deliver the returns on our products. We can mobilize our resources to meet the rapidly-changing demands of new technology, and ensure that they can integrate immediately with existing solution. Other systems providers aren’t able to do this. Every year, we produce applications and modules that improve our customers’ service to players and add convenience to their daily operations. Our customers tell us that along with the stability and flexibility of systems like GALAXIS™, CRYSTAL.web™,
CRYSTAL.net™, they want cost effective and easy-to-install solutions that keep them current with new technology. Current examples of the advanced technology we’re developing include near-field communication, where two devices, like a reader and smart phone, can simply touch each other to exchange data.
How does ATRONIC’s system streamline processes? ATRONIC Systems’ primary objective is
to streamline our customers’ processes with forward-thinking and innovative software that makes the complete gaming experience simple and convenient for both the player and the operator. We integrate our customers’ business into our systems, rather than the other way around. We define ourselves not as a technology
