Things you might not know about


- Over 4.4million young people in the UK have benefited from doing their DofE since 1956


- Demand continues to rise year on year – Awards achieved have risen by 37% over the last five years


- Last year, 6,809 young people attended a national Gold Award Presentation – with personal guests, that’s over 16,000 people at these events!

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award… - Numbers of our participants using our online system, eDofE, to record their achievements grew 637% over the year to almost 150,000.


- Through young people’s Volunteering section and adult Leaders’ time, the DofE contributes over £32million to society every year.
