La Femme Chic Consignment Boutique Opens

Party from 6 to 8 p.m., May 19, to celebrate the April opening of the Solana Beach store. Specializing in women’s high-end ap- parel, shoes, handbags and accessories, the shelves are stocked with labels such as Armani, Burberry, Valentino and Chanel, all at great prices. “It’s ‘love-me’ merchandise at ‘buy-

L

me’ prices,” says boutique owner Janet Sinclair. “La Femme Chic Consignment Boutique marries my love of fashion with the thrill of finding a great buy.” Sinclair’s career in the fashion and beauty industry gave her an appreciation for couture, and the unpredictable salary in those busi- nesses gave her an eye for a deal. Her new boutique, with an elegant ambiance and French flair, combines both. “My shop is for all women, whether

they want to spend $800 on a luxury handbag or $15 on a simply divine top,” explains Sinclair. “They’re going to find something and leave feeling beautiful.”

Location: 415 S. Cedros Ave., Solana Beach 92075. For more information, call 858-345-1480, email Janet@ LaFemmeChicConsignment.com or visit LaFemmeChicConsignment.com.

Semi-Private Integrative Yoga Sessions Offered

T

o celebrate women’s health month, Return to Health, in Pacific Beach, will offer Yoga

for You classes, semi-private integrative yoga sessions for women, May 3 and May 7, for the introductory price of $25 for a 90-minute session. Providing individual support and introducing

new postures into a power yoga routine, these sessions are taught by Susan Grant, HHP, and offer the one-on-one attention needed to safely under- stand the asanas and their effect on the body and emotional centers. Small enough to allow individualized attention and the ability to learn from other students, the classes offer a safe haven where women can thrive without worrying about their cur- rent level of physical coordination or how they look in tights. “Yoga does not have to be something you set time aside to do,” says Grant. “It can be an effortless part of your daily life—walking the dog, reaching up to a high shelf or bending down to pick up the paper—these are all yoga postures in action. Yoga for You makes life easier.”
