quality family entertainment offered by the North Florida Fair. Circus Maximus performed under the big top and con- sistently played to a full house. The Wild World of Animals entertained and educated young and old alike about exotic and endangered animals. Magician Al Belmont of Bel- mont’s Magic Show provided quality magic tricks, illusions, and comedy to fair patrons. The Show-Me Swine Races and Petting Zoo were as popular as ever. It was a great entertainment package and the patrons responded with attendance and praise. The North Florida Fair is gaining momentum and intends to do it bigger and better in 2011.


Columbia County Fairgrounds Hosts 17th Annual Rodeo


The 17th Annual Florida Gateway Pro-Rodeo is scheduled


for March 18-20, 2011 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena. The recognized leader in professional Ro- deo’s, the PRCA is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the industry. The PRCA sanctions nearly 700 rodeos annually in 40 plus states and is managed with fair- ness and competence and that the livestock used is healthy and cared for to the highest standards. With over 300 professional cowboys or cowgirls contestants from as far away as Canada, The Florida Gateway Pro-Rodeo has grown to one of the largest PRCA Rodeo’s in North Florida, competing for more than $8,000 in purse money and as well as points for the National Final Rodeo in Las Vegas at the year’s end. The Florida Gateway Pro-Rodeo is proud to help organi-
