nual Federation Convention. Be sure to check our website
www.floridafairs.org for all the Convention information and don’t forget – you can Register online! This year’s Convention will welcome the attendees from Zone II for the IAFE Zone II Meeting. This will be a great addition to our Convention as we get to make new friends
and visit with old acquaintances. Also, what a great opportunity for our Associ- ate members to get exposure to even more Fairs! Your Convention Committee is planning a great event for you with new and
exciting ideas. You won’t want to miss this year’s President’s Party honoring Jeanne Keaton and all our Past Presidents – the event will be fun for all! There is also a wide variety of educational workshops, panels, and round table discussions – the opportunity to learn and share is unlimited! This year’s pro- gram also features an IAFE Fair Management Institute “for credit” class which is also open to all convention attendees. A special thanks also to all our Associate Members for their continued sup-
port of our organization. Our goal is to better our industry by working hand in hand. Don’t forget – Mark your calendars for May 19th – 21st and May 18th for the
Golf Tournament. Hope we see you at the Convention! Lisa Hinton
A note from the newsletter committee……… You will notice our new masthead, thank you to all of the Fairs that contributed photographs: Citrus County Fair, Clay County Fair, Columbia County Fair, Florida State Fair, Florida Strawberry Festival, Greater Hillsborough County Fair, Lake County Fair, North Florida Fair, and Pensacola Interstate Fair. And congratulations to Lisa for, once again, bringing home the first place award from IAFE for the newsletter. And for the first time the first place award for our annual directory. The committee is here to help but Lisa does all the “
ra” work! el
