John Charlebois, Menlo Park, has a new assistant trainer. Welcome Johnathan Williams from Virginia.


Meredith Michaels Beerbaum has returned to California for a winter of showing on the Thermal Desert Circuits. She will be accompanied by her husband, Marcus Beerbaum and their daughter Brianne Victoria.


Nicole Kane has moved her South Shore Training Stables to Huntington Beach Central Park Stables. Originally from the beach area, she is excited about the move back close to the ocean.


EQU Lifestyle Magazine has opened a new venture. EQU Lifestyle Boutique opened its doors the first week of Thermal for the circuit. Monica Ward is the proprietress of the new mobile tack store.


John Rohr has accepted a new assistant position with Beverly Jovais at her Chestnut Hill Stables in Novato, California.


Soenhke Theyman has moved to Oregon to head up the beautiful new facility of Barb Ellison in Woodinville. This exceptional young trainer has been the mainstay of El Campeon for many years and is looking forward to the move north to oversee the Wild Turkey show string. Mandy Porter will continue to compete a vast share of those horses also.

USHJA Regional and individual Affiliate Sportsmanship Award for Instructor. The goal of the USHJA Affiliate Sportsmanship Awards Program is to recognize outstanding juniors, amateurs, professional riders, and riding instructors who exemplify good horsemanship, sportsmanship and integrity for the sport and exhibitors. Kim never puts pressure on the rider she just works harder to make it work. She congratulates riders and trainers not only from her barn but others and is genuinely happy for their accomplishments. Kim will receive: • USHJA Gift • A Certificate • Yearbook In addition to the individual awards each regional winner will receive: • Complimentary Active USHJA membership for the upcoming competition year • A "keeper" trophy • Complimentary annual meeting registration and ticket to the Evening of Equestrians Awards Dinner, where the regional awards will be presented. Congratulations to Kim for her dedication to the sport!
