Bird Watch 2011 The


Big Garden Birdwatch comes to Well Hall Pleasaunce again this year, on Saturday January 29.


Children will be able to see a range of bird species through telescopes, make bird feeders and do some arts and crafts. Birds often seen include jays, magpies, blue tits, great tits, goldfinch, greenfinch, long tailed tits and occasional woodpeckers and heron.


The activities will be suitable for children aged four years upwards to teenage.


The event will be held between 10am and 3pm and a final birdcount will be sent to the RSPB.

Borough Mariners are being given the inside lane when it comes to pool time both at Eltham and at other pools in the borough.


Mr Beager said: “All we want is an hour on Fridays at Eltham, to have a club night.”
