Members and Partners gathered at the Up- minster Golf Club to celebrate the end of a successful and enjoyable Rotary Year and for the Chain of Office to be handed over by President Margareta to President Elect Raj.

The Rotary International Presidential Cita- tion Award for 2007/08 Rotary Year has been awarded to the Rotary Club of Hornchurch & Upminster and was pre- sented to President Margareta by our 1240 District Governor, Brian Piccolo.
This evening was also the Club's opportunity to present the 'Rotarian of the Year' award to PP/PHF and SVP elect Brian Taffs for his exceptional dedication and services to the Club and to Rotary
