First Step – provides support and a place to learn for pre-school children with special needs and their families in the London Borough of Havering Kids Alive International - meets the needs of children having no other reason- able means of support Little Havens - a hospice offering care to children and their families, providing respite facilities for families of children having life threatening illnesses St Francis Hospice - offers specialist care for adults having life limiting illnesses Ravens Bourne School - provides specialist education for children with severe learning difficulties many of whom have profound multiple physical and medical problems. The Jaipur Limb Centre - provides artificial limbs, callipers and other aids to the physically handicapped poor in India; the largest limb centre of its kind in the world Wheelchair Foundation - aims to deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult in the world who needs but cannot afford one Datalink - message in a bottle- a potential lifesaving scheme provides special medication instructions and contact numbers in cases of emergency The Canal Boat Project - hires purpose-built and adapted, wide-beam accessi- ble canal boats for holidays and short-breaks to people with disabilities and community groups Supports local schools – our Playathon provides a stage for musically talented children to perform at the Queen‟s Theatre
