Google SketchUp: Collaborative Learning Community (Part 1 of 4) During the 2009-10 school year, teachers from the area were introduced to Google Sketch-up as an educational tool for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This year, we’ve developed a Collaborative Learning Community of Google SketchUp users from our region to meet, collaborate, and learn together.
Focus of the CLC meetings will be developed based on the needs of the community, but might include: · Sharing project ideas and lessons. · Participation in a learning network through Moodle. · Learning and sharing new skills and techniques. Everyone learns more when we share!

Teaching Dyslexic Learners in the Classroom4-6 (Part 1 of 2) This course will give the classroom teacher the tools to recognize students who are struggling with dyslexia, and the pedagogy to address the needs of those students in the classroom setting. This is crucial for Tier 1 interventions for students who may not be making progress in reading, spelling and writing.
