Discount Program for Hair Enhancement Therapy A
special discounted program to ex- perience hair enhancement laser
therapy is now being offered in Naples. The FDA-safety-compliant procedure, utilizing low-level light that can help energize hair and strengthen hair cells, is available at Maida’s Hair Studio. The first 100 clients to enroll in
the program will receive $50 off the regular monthly treatment fee of $250. Treatments usually take 30 minutes on a twice-weekly basis for at least six months to realize results. Users sit under a laser hood that emits light from more than 50 laser diodes. The studio operated on Marco
Island for seven years before moving to its present location last November. Other special payment plans are available, along with free initial consultations.

Stress-Reduction Programs in Fort Myers and Cape Coral
L
earn how to reduce stress and enhance health through either of two Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs
beginning this month. Conducted by the nonprofit Hearts’ Path to Mindful Living, Inc., the eight-week, internationally recog- nized MBSR programs include a free orientation session. The Terraces, in Fort Myers, offers orientation at 6 p.m.,
September 8, with classes starting September 22. The Cape Coral Wellness Center (CCWC) offers orientation at 7 p.m., September 14, with classes beginning September 21. Seven of the programs’ weekly sessions—combining
meditation, gentle stretching and other healing techniques—are two-and-a-half to three hours in duration. Each program will also include one all-day Saturday session. Hearts’ Path teachers have been trained by the University
of Massachusetts’ Medical Center’s Center for Mindfulness. Financial assistance and special payment plans are available.
