HOMEAID HOUSTON DEDICATES


COVENANT HOUSE REMODEL Dozens of shelter residents and team members were on-hand for the recent dedication of HomeAid Houston’s Covenant House Texas (CHT) remodel project. Kenneth Charanza of Charanza Contracting Inc. was the remodeler captain and Leslie King, HomeAid board member and president of Greymark Construction Co. also spearheaded construction. The team remodeled the CHT administration building that was built in the 1930s. The work


included redesigning and remodeling the conference room, installing new floors, repairing and painting all interior walls, repainting the exterior entry and renovating the downstairs lavatory. Covenant House Texas (CHT) Crisis Shelter serves homeless youth ranging in age from 18 to 20.


Vendors who donated their time, services and materials to help complete renovations were honored; they included Airtron Houston, BMC SELECT, Carlos Cea, Ferguson Enterprises Inc., Floors Inc., Designer Stone, Gabariel Acosta, G&C,


M&M Lighting, Mannington, Nick’s Plumbing, Price Phister, Santiago Perez, Sherwin-Williams Paint Co., Schwartz Electric, Warrior Painting Contractors, and Westheimer Plumbing & Hardware.
