You'll find Fox Haven at High Level Golf and Country Club in High Level, Alberta. It's an amazing new 18 hole course that will entertain as much with scenery as with the game afoot. Fairways are lined with white and the course itself is traversed by numerous man made lakes making for, at times, imposing strategy and approach. Hay River Golf Course – The Hay River Golf Club, lies 10 kilometres south of the Town of Hay River, on NWT Highway 2, and is the only grass course north of 60. Incorporated into the natural architecture of the the Hay River, this course offers beautiful views and winding fairways. Mature, white aspens perfectly accent the beautiful lush green of the fairways. Fort McMurray Golf
Club, located at Fort McMurray, Alberta, is eloquently carved out of the Borealis Forest and nestled along the banks of the beautiful Athabasca River. The course was designed by Bill Newis of GPEC Designs and is ranked by the Edmonton Sun, as one of the “must play” golf courses in Alberta. Fort McMurray is an 18 hole course that offers both strategem and finesse with many shots over valleys and creek beds. Large greens for easy shot acceptance and with varying
degrees of undulation and demanding tee shots from championship tees provide a formidable challenge for the experienced golfer. The well-stocked Pro Shop handles all brands of apparel and equipment. River Bend Golf
Course - The best kept secret in Central Alberta, is the River Bend Golf Course. This 18 hole, par 72 course features elevated tees, large inviting greens, water hazards and a fresh water stream that winds its way through woods and fairways. The sprawling 130 acre course presents rolling hills and woodlands along the riverside, and amazing seasonal vistas in spring, summer and fall, as well as terrain to challenge your golf game. This is one of Alberta's most scenic golf courses. This 18-hole championship course stretches over 6,750 yards of beautiful woodland and waterframed fairway, ranging from the 115 yard over-the- water, over-the-bridge #3, to the long and narrow par 5 on #17. Water comes into play on ten of the eighteen holes. Two lakes and two smaller ponds cover more than 50 acres of the river bottom flatland.
