Twin Lakes Golf Resort

If you can imagine a blue-sky day in mid- summer, a serene mountain setting, lazy fairways and lush greens, you're almost there. Nestled among the scrub terrain and majestic rock cliffs of south-western British Columbia, just 35 miles north of the Canada/US border at Osoyoos, the Twin Lakes Golf Resort is a bit of heaven.

“The regulation length, 18-hole resort features raised tees, challenging, bunkered greens and fairway drives, and water hazards on four of the beautifully manicured holes,” says Marketing Director, Kate Swanson. “We have several tee blocks on each hole to make sure that we're challenging all skill levels.”

There is also a driving range on-site should you feel the need to warm up prior to hitting the course.

After a round of golf you can relax in the resort restaurant or out on the deck which provides a post-card view of the 1st, 10th & 18th holes. Chef specialties include Greek food, gourmet burgers, tender ribs, and fish & chips, among other patron favourites.

The Twin Lakes RV Park is only a short walk away from the first tee. Other location features include nearby trout-stocked lakes that offer excellent sport fishing, scenic hiking and biking trails, sandy beaches, nighttime entertainment, and over twenty local wineries not more than a 30 minute drive away. With a robust seasonal opening from April 1, through to October 15, full hook-up is very reasonably priced. Notable extras of the customer-oriented, pet-friendly resort are the free firewood, free Wi-fi, and free showers - all compliments of the proprietors.

All-in-all, Twin Lakes has managed to create a unique culture that, alongside the amazing scenery, will make it hard to leave.

“We've been holidaying in the Penticton area for over 30 years and have been playing Twin Lakes every year that we come to the valley. We find it a very challenging course; well maintained and playable for all calibre of golfers (which we have in our group). Good value for the cost and the service and hospitality has always been great.” Bob Gallimore (return green fee player)
