Next Generation of Cleaner Now Available
A
n innovative green clean- ing product, safe for people, pets and the environment, is now available through Great- Day Enterprises, in San Diego. The Activeion Ionator is a small, handheld appliance that uses electrical charges to temporarily
alter regular tap water to clean and kill germs without chemicals. GreatDay owner Rob Spence explains: “This alternative to traditional chemi- cal cleaners uses the power of physics, rather then chemistry, to clean and sanitize surfaces. It can kill germs on contact within six seconds, and cleans as well or better than chemicals.” Emmy Award-winning Bill Nye, “The Science Guy,” explains the science

According to Spence, thousands of studies have examined and established links between cleaning chemicals and illnesses. “This device cleans with just wa- ter,” says Spence. “It’s powerful, yet safe enough to use to clean your strawberries.”

Construction of Pistachio Hair Salon Underway

istachio Hair Studio, a high-end, purpose-built hair and skin sa- lon, is coming to Melrose Plaza. The 2400-square-foot salon in the South Carlsbad/San Marcos area plans to open its doors in August. Staffed by a sizable group of seasoned stylists, Pistachio will fea- ture Italian styling chairs, professional care products and a fashion boutique stocked with eclectic merchandise from around the world.
