MagKnife cuts it at RASE Silver award presented at the Royal Show
MagKnife, the innovative magnetic bottom blade attachment system for commercial mowing machines, has won a Royal Agricultural Society (RASE) Silver Medal. The award was presented to Tim Lansdell, Ransomes Jacobsen's Technical Director at the Royal Show, Stoneleigh Park recently. Machinery for the amenity sector
is now included in the RASE awards scheme, reflecting the diversification that offers new opportunities for farmers and contractors, hence the MagKnife submission for this prestigious award.
In making the award, the judging
panel found that MagKnife is reliable and effective in terms of its performance and function and that it possesses important new features and outstanding advantages for the user. Commenting after receiving the

PETER CRAIG (Grounds Manager, Hurlingham Club) - Nearly 30 years in the business having been involved in the management of virtually all grass surfaces – now office bound with a beer belly to prove it! Married to Maria with two wonderful boys, Samuel 7 and Oliver 4. Days off are strange as living on site I often find myself in the office when I really should be doing something else! Apart from my second, and far more demanding job of husband and father my two main interests are golf and music, in particular my love (nay addiction) to the music of my favourite band, The Wedding Present. I have been a big fan for 20 years now but 2005 has been quite a year. By the end of the year I will have attended 27 live gigs in 7 different countries including Holland, Sweden and the United States. Mid-life crisis - never! My handicap at golf hovers around 20. I’m not very good but find a round of golf
therapeutic.
