•Previous First Class Cricket experience •Supervisory skills

Head Groundsman Llanelli Rugby Football Club


Llanelli Rugby Football Club have a vacancy for a Head Groundsman at Stradey Park - one of the most famous Rugby Grounds in the World.


The successful candidate will have complete responsibilty for the stadium pitch and adjacent 2nd and 3rd pitches.


Working with the Director of Rugby and the Chief Executive, the Head Groundsman will coordinate the day to day maintenance of the pitches and the end of season renovations.


Minimum requirements for applicants are NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent), PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and 3 years experience of maintaining high quality sports surfaces.


The position carries a competitive salary in line with IOG rates. Closing date Friday 9th September 2005.
