How does Friday night, sipping a glass of Arrowleaf wine whilst enjoying the smooth jazz musings of Maria Muldaur sound? How about quaffing one of our own Okanagan Springs fine brews while taking in the equally fine melodies of Juno and American Music Award winner Alfie Zappacosta, or Blues Gentleman Mr.Wes Mackey, grab you? Saturday... ‘It’s a party!’ This years’ Rarearth Fest also features rockin’ blues great Mr. Jim Byrnes, the legendary Barney Bentall, David Gogo, People’s Choice Award winner, Andrew Allen, and, from Australia, the Mason Rack Band, to name just a few on our starting lineup. Then - especially for our Seniors - the Company B Band will delight all with classics from the 40s and 50s, followed by a two-hour gospel concert in the afternoon featuring the Black Heritage Pioneer Singers. Closing off the evening will be another two-hour concert with blues goddess, Rita Chiarelli.

All 95 Contestants from Our Kids Have Talent (ourkidshavetalent.com), ages 8-18, will perform on ‘Stage Right’, creating a colossal 3-day, non-stop musical festival.

With a mandate to honour our ‘rare’ piece of earth by striving toward a ‘plastics free’ environment, Rarearth invites healthy food and earth-friendly vendors, as well as musical educators like Kiko the Eco Elf, and traditional aboriginal teachers. There’s also a huge play area for the children.

Rarearth Music Fest ‘walks their talk’ by using biodegradable cups, garbage bags, and cutlery. We encourage patrons to replace plastic water bottles with refillable ones. Rarearth has a massive ‘Green Team’ who take pride in keeping the grounds spotless by carrying out recyclables and composting initiatives. This safe, family oriented environment promises something for everyone, with an awesome array of musical diversity and some of the best musicians in the country. Rarearth is a festival where amazing memories will be created.
