SENSATIONAL POOL

ADDS STYLISH FINISHING TOUCH TO LONDON PROPERTY

D

enise and Bradley Gerrard, a property developer husband-and-wife team from London, were looking for a swimming pool

with a ‘wow’ factor. It was to finish off one of their developments in North London. They were looking for something ‘special’ but had to impose some financial restrictions and agreed a tight £100,000 budget for the major pool project.

Denise and Bradley appointed Jetform Swimming

Pools from Ramsden Heath in Essex, a company whose staff have over 100 years of combined practical experience in pool building to produce the stunning, impressive, high end residential pool which was completed early last year.

The new house development was designed for a high end buyer; the inclusion of a spectacular swimming pool in the basement area was vital to the project.

Jetform Swimming Pools understood the need for the design and style of the pool to remain in keeping with the design of the house and work around a number of large concrete pillars which support the

upper floors of the house. These eventually became a striking part of the design of the pool. It was key, as it is with all pool building specialists, that they were involved with the project from the earliest planning stage to make sure all the needs of the clients and all the structural engineering, architects and interior design issues were dealt with properly and professionally. Jetform Swimming Pools was briefed to use an indoor space to create a large pool which incorporated a whole range of stylish, eye-catching features, including multi-coloured LED lighting and high standard finishes. Robert Wakefield, Managing Director of Jetform Swimming Pools explains: “When we discussed the design with the client we discovered that the inspiration behind the pattern in the floor came from a French dress that the client was particularly fond of. A few people were quite anxious about the choice of tiling and what the pool was going to look like when full of water and it is a testament to Denise and Bradley that they were prepared to try something
