THE DATA REPORTS

On the pages that follow, you will find reports containing data from the various sources mentioned previously. Interleaved between each report will be an explanatory page, to show where the source data originated and how the totals and any conclusions were arrived at. The explanatory pages will also show any bullet point observations we have felt were particularly relevant and worthy of highlighting.

The police pay analysis reports are based solely on basic salary rates which may be checked in detail at:-

The reports as at pages 24 & 27 show the numbers of officers, basic salary by rank and the force costs per rank and in total. The HMIC data is the most current as it is drawn from the most recently collated force wide data and includes overtime and any bonus payments payable.
