Dolli Dimples Day Care is a privately owned full day care nursery. They opened in October 2007 and are registered for 24 children aged between 0-5 years. Dolli Dimples is registered with OFSTED and they offer 15 hours free childcare per week for children aged 3+. There is a Baby Room for children aged 0-2 and a combined Toddler/Pre-School Room for children aged 2-5. They have a covered outdoor play area with sand and water play, a garden, lights and a sound system. Dolli Dimples work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

The proprietors of the COPPER KETTLE RESTAURANT Mrs Joyce Wright and her daughter Carole believe they run the oldest family restaurant in the town having fed and watered the people of Accrington for nearly 50 years. “It is now fashionable to serve locally sourced produce,” says Carole “but we have been serving locally sourced fresh meat, fish, handcut chips and fresh seasonable vegetables with many homegrown for years.” They have a nice selection of wines to compliment every meal and specialist coffee and chocolates to finish.
