The North Jersey Transformational Yoga Conference Set for June

he North Jersey Transformation Yoga Conference (NJTYC), originated by Delia Quigley and Denise Kay, will take place June 26-27 at the Rutherfurd Hall and Mountain Villa Schools, Allamuchy Farms in Allamuchy, New Jersey. This two-day yoga event draws yoga

teachers and students from all over New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. The conference will include over 33 different workshops with classes on techniques of yoga practice, inno- vative contemporary yoga instruction, self-healing, nutrition advice and meditation. Saturday evening features a Kirtan concert with Grammy nominated artist, Dalien, also known as 13 Hands.

In an effort to promote local food and economy, the NJ- TYC will partner with the Foodshed Alliance, Perona Farms, Donaldson Farms and Godlewski Farms to provide the high- est quality locally grown food while promoting local farms and businesses at the first yoga conference to be held in this area.

“This is an opportunity for hundreds of people who are health conscious to immerse themselves in everything yoga,” says Quigley. “There will be classes for the beginner as well as the seasoned yoga student.”

Native Hawaiian Teaches Ancient Healing Practice

Harry and his wife Sila will share, demonstrate and initiate those in attendance into the Hawaiian touch medi- cine known as Laulima, or “laying of hands”/ energy work, which addresses both the emotional and physical body. The work unveils truths about the authentic dynamic of “Grace Receiving Gratitude.” Participants will learn by doing “lay- ing on of hands,” an ancient Hawaiian healing practice and gathering in a cluster of like-minded healers holding the common intention for one person’s well being.
