BuilderScrap Return to Ecobuild
Visit BuilderScrap on stand 448 at Ecobuild this year, to find out how you can start saving money! BuilderScrap is a completely free website, which offers members a new, environmentally way of passing on surplus materials. Savings can be made through fewer skips going to landfill, and less man hours to fill those skips. Huge savings can also be made as most of the materials being passed on through BuilderScrap are done so for free or low cost! The website is supported by Construction Centre of Innovation, Envirolink and WRAP, amongst others.

Exactly What the Trade was Waiting For!
The newest product to be launched by Everbuild is Exact Gap Minimal Expanding Foam. Featured heavily in the new Everbuild catalogue, Exact Gap Foam does exactly as its name suggests; it fills gaps exactly! There is an ongoing demand for foam with minimal expansion which has been fuelled by local authorities keen to reduce the amount of excess foam that is cut off once cured, and that inevitably gets blown away in the wind, causing litter. There is also the additional problem of the excess foam damaging / staining the surrounding substrates. Therefore the launch of Exact Gap Foam, exactly meets this demand in the market place. Due to the controlled application of the product, the foam itself only expands around 5-10% more than the bead that is extruded from the nozzle, therefore reducing the mountains of excess foam! Exact Gap Foam is available in 750ml canisters, and shortly, a smaller 500ml canister.

Hi-Tec Spray Keeps Driving up the Pressure
Several years past Hi-Tec Spray Ltd. (HSL) designed and commissioned their very first Mobile Rig that incorporated the use of the Graco A-20 Reactor from their range of Plural Component Proportioners. The mobile rigs now have a significant presence on construction sites around the country as well as being the standard outfit adopted by the insulation contractor operating in the domestic roof insulation retrofit industry. The purpose of the specific equipment within each vehicle is to address every aspect of application – hot or cold application, large or small volume and low level or high rise environment. All put together at a very competitive price that minimises the contractors’ capital outlay.
