Scout Hut Reaps the Benefits of Insulation System

Daventry Scout Hut in Northamptonshire is the latest project to benefit from the highest quality flooring insulation, thanks to Hanson’s Jetfloor system, which uses thermally efficient Jablite expanded polystyrene. Hanson’s developed the innovative Jetfloor system in partnership with Jablite, one of the leading manufacturers of expanded polystyrene, to provide a flooring insulation system that was quick and simple to install, whilst offering high levels of thermal performance. The Jetfloor system consists of EPS blocks suspended from pre-stressed beams, which are then finished with a structural concrete topping reinforced with polypropylene fibres.
