Due to the rank disregard for customer care, AT&T is no longer our telephone carrier. Many of you who tried to call between October 2009 & February 2010 may have experienced the ringing phone at the end of the line. We called AT&T more than a few times to attempt to get our line back up and running. Finally I called someone in a different department (not repair) and they sent a technician out. I was told that he problem was “something outside in the wiring”. We were up & running until I disputed the bill. I refused to pay for 4 months time in which I had no service. I was told that I could have a $17.50 credit. I did not pay the bill for this & allowed it to be disconnected rather than pay for something that I did not receive. I was treated as less than a valuable customer, so now we have a new phone service along with a new phone number.
Years ago we moved The Inner Space phones from Bell South for the same reasons. We are saving over $900 total on all our phone bills! Imagine! $900 on 11 telephone lines!
