Your Key to Love and Money: Activate Your Venus in 2010 Part 4
MYSTICAL MENTORS
By Beth Bennett Ph.D.
The sign and house where you find Venus in your natal astrological chart shows how you attract love as well as what and how you love. Some signs and houses natu- rally resonate with Venus’ energy, and those folks find it a bit easier to work with their Venus energy. However, that does not mean that “good” Venus placements do not require work. On the contrary, a so-called easy or “good” Venus placement can result in taking your attractiveness to others for granted, cause laziness in personal relationships, or even casual attitudes about money and working: if money always seems to come easily, why work hard? Other placements find issues around love and money a bit more challenging, yet the rewards may also be great for the harder work.
Venus in Virgo or the 6th house can tell you all about working hard. These folks are the troopers of the zodiac, showing up for their jobs no matter what is happening in their personal lives and making all the other employees look like slackers. Of course, this tendency makes them popular with bosses and per- haps not quite so beloved by fellow employees, or by the loved ones left at home alone while Venus in Virgo works overtime. If you are the chosen one of Venus in Virgo, you’ll certainly be well taken care of. You will have any material good for the asking, and your home will be absolutely neat, clean, and orderly. Your Venus in the 6th spouse will work his or her fingers to the bone for you. And then he or she will go out into the world and work some more.
Venus in Virgo wants to take care of others, true, but Venus in Virgo will also want an appreciative and sup- portive partner. Venus in the 6th attracts love through being well-groomed, well-travelled, well-educated, and attentive to the loved one’s needs. Ideally, Venus in Virgo will expect the same in return. You cannot be a slob and be adored by Venus in Virgo. You don’t have to be a model either, but you do need top-notch personal hygiene, especially in the dental department. Your toothbrush is your Best Friend when dating Venus in Virgo. Venus in Virgo abhors a mess of any kind, even emotional messes, so save your drama for your friends. The one kind of mess that Venus in Virgo will see you through is financial, as long as you don’t make a career of sad or chaotic finances. Though Venus in the 6th most likely put him or herself through college, rest assured that those loans will all be paid off on time and that a tidy nest-egg for the future is also in the plan. Careers that draw Venus in Virgo or the 6th can center on caring professions. They will be drawn to areas in which they can be of service, including teach- ing, the medical field, promoting good health through sports or food preparation, and oddly enough, acting.
Great, you’re thinking, I’m totally into my Venus in Virgo. What’s the catch? Because there always is one…
Oracle 20/20 April 2010
Venus in Virgo is a humongous baby when he or she is sick. The world must stop spinning, and all efforts must be directed to taking care of Venus in Virgo. The complaints and whining become the stuff of legends. Fortunately, illness is rare with these physically resilient folks. When the illness is over, you will be tempted to make family jokes out of your Venus in the 6th house’s behavior. Don’t. Here is their second flaw: they loathe teasing, especially about so-called “weaknesses.” They consider you a bully for hitting them where they are weakest. If you can be a cheerleader and patient with them when they are feeling down, you’ll have a loyal, cheerful, lovely companion into your old age.
On the other hand, keeping Venus in Scorpio or the 8th house as your companion in life into your old age will take some fancy footwork. Not that you’re not up to it, but this is one placement where your knowledge of astrology can pay off big-time. If you are Venus in Scorpio you will hate your secrets being out there, but try to see the benefit here. Your potential mates deserve a warning, because otherwise they will run screaming from the room never to return some dark and lonely night. Dark and lonely for you--Venus in Scorpio--not them. Sorry, but you need this infor- mation out there for your own good, so that you can attract the quality love that you deserve, for Venus in Scorpio or the 8th offers a deep and serious love. This is not love for the faint-hearted or the superficial. Get yourself out immediately if you are not serious about Venus in Scorpio.
Venus in Scorpio attracts love by being mysterious, intelligent, well-spoken, deeply philosophical, and just darned attractive in every way. All that sounds wonder- ful…then, Venus in Scorpio proceeds to take the object of their desire apart piece by piece until there is not a corner of the other’s soul that they have not tried to pry their way into. You will have not a secret left by the time Venus in Scorpio is done with you. That’s the key—if you’re meant to be with Venus in the 8th this scrutiny either will not really throw you and you will have the patience to take it all in stride, or you’ll give as good as you get. Venus in Scorpio loves a challenge and a mystery, so be challenging and mysterious.
If you
don’t have any game and you want Venus in Scorpio, get some.
Venus in the 8th, however, will not return the favor by opening up they way they expect you to. Nope. No way. If you love Venus in the 8th, you just have to get over it. It’s not much to get over to have such a fas- cinating, cannily intuitive, emotionally mature partner, who is pretty much willing to do whatever you want in life, from travel to Thailand to alpaca farming, as long
