LGBT COMMUNITY YARD SALE
“You came out of the closet…now unclutter it!”
On Saturday, March 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., The Center invites you to
clean out your closets, kitchen cabinets, garage and attic and donate your reus-
able goods to the San Diego LGBT Community Center. Turn your old treasures into
“green” for Family Matters at The Center.
Please bring only items that are in good usable condition—such as clothing,
small household appliances, toys, games, bikes, bedding, dishes, small house-
hold accessories/furnishings, tools and yard equipment. Unfortunately no large
appliances or large furniture can be accepted.
For additional information or to schedule an easy drop off, contact Jane Schmoll
at 619.692.2077 ext. 121 or jschmoll@thecentersd.org. Donations are now being
accepted at The Center.
SAN DIEGO LEATHER PRIDE (SDLP)
San Diego Leather Pride Inc. may just be forming the board of directors, but
leather events throughout the community are well-beyond the planning phases.
From March 11 to 21, devoted “leatherfolk” can look forward to contests, meet-
and-greets and play parties to satisfy every color of hanky!
Ladies first! The events, listed in great detail at mrsandiegoleather.org, begin
with the women’s events. Then it’s the men’s turn, but not before an assortment
of mixed after-parties and cocktail mixers. Even $5.00 BDSM classes are open for
all who are attracted. (Free for V.I.P. ticketholders). Save the date! March 14 at WSN
Studio on 30th St. And don’t miss the Victory Brunch or Afterglow party at Red
Wing Bar and Grill! All tickets are available at mrsandiegoleather.org.
