THE ANAHEIM
“My goal is to help people understand ’class’” says
Bruno Serato—the owner/proprietor of “The White
House” in Anaheim. After one visit, you’re likely to
agree that he’s the right man for the job! Crediting
his parents with inspiring his love of food and hos-
pitality as far back as age 13 when he worked in their
“trattoria,” this amiable native of Verona Italy now
thrills guests on a daily basis by serving up celebrity-
caliber fare from his European-inspired menu. In fact,
he even names most of them after fashion-industry
luminaries!
Located at 887 South Anaheim Blvd. in a historic
“post Victorian-era” manse, the eatery has brought
affordable luxury to the local epicurean landscape
for 21 years! No doubt, this is due in large part to
the efforts and community philanthropy of Signore
Serato, (who has owned the place since 1988), not to
mention his extremely personable staff. Just cross
the threshold and you’ll be transported to more

salons downstairs, the second floor features six ad-
ditional rooms to accommodate private parties of
all sizes—each named after a U.S. President. (Word is
the establishment is even haunted by a benevolent
spirit whose aim is to ensure each patron a deliciously
memorable stay every time)!
Among the many not-to-be missed offerings here
is the Gwen Stefani Lobster Ravioli, which can be
ordered as both a main entrée or an appetizer. Either
