Life Could Be a Dream
Continuing his flair for frothy and delightful musical stagings, writer and direc-
tor Roger Bean is enjoying the successful run of his new production Life Could
Be a Dream at Hudson Mainstage in Hollywood. It’s time to meet the Crooning
Crabcakes of 1960 and revel in all their musical hopes and dreams along with a
wild case of heartache and romance thrown into the mix. Will they pull it together
and win the local radio contest on station “Big Whopper?” You will have to travel
back to a much simpler time with Life Could Be a Dream to find out. Roger Bean’s
production was honored with the 2007 Los Angeles Ovation Award for Best Musi-
