The Taste of the World Food Festival
If you consider the world to be your oyster, then October 23, 24 and 25 will be your lucky days. The
Taste of the World Festival is in town, at the State Historic Park at 1245 North Spring Street, to tantalize
your taste buds. With vendors representing their 50 respective countries, it’s safe bet to say that you
do not want to eat for five days prior to the event, so that you can sample the goods and nosh to your
hearts content. And for you finicky eaters, there will also be celebrations of diversity within different
cultures showcased through music, art and dance. For those who enjoy competition reality showcases,
like “Dancing with the Stars,” there will be a talent search for the “Next Celebrity Chef” and “Dancing with
the Salsa Stars.” You will leave full of food, culture and feeling oh-so-very continental.
