1. The Truggery
The Truggery at Coopers Croft, Herstmonceux has been making Sussex Trugs
for over 100 years. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 1pm, or by
appointment. Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th both shop and workshop will be

2. The Malthouse
Tearoom and Bistro in Herstmonceux offering morning coffee, lunches and
cream teas. Evening bistro menu changes weekly, using fresh local produce.

3. Arts Hut
Built in 1727, charming studio gallery of rural artist Anna Wilson-Patterson

4. The Windmill
Keep travelling east to Windmill Hill. This unique Post Mill dating from 1815 is
the largest in the UK. There is a film, interpretation centre and visits to the mill
body, with an exhibition of paintings by Pat McNamara. Open Sunday June 7th

6. Art Barn
Turn into Wartling Road, travel past Herstmonceux Castle, to the Art Barn a
restored milking parlour, look out for the red dot. Specialising in paintings,
sculpture and an eclectic mix of decorative items for
