Battle Medieval Fair

Need a break from the 21st century? Then journey to an age of
kings, queens and knights in shining armor as the kingdom comes
alive at the Medieval Fair.
Experience the Middle Ages with food fit for a king, games and a
vast array of entertainment for all ages.
The Battle Merrie Maypolers are in readiness to romp around
the Maypole in their unique dance display. There will also be an
opportunity for would-be maypolers to take part, so don’t be shy,
come and try this age old tradition!
There is a parade down the High Street on Monday, after
which children from Battle & Langton School will delight by
demonstrating the dance as it is really done!
Visitors can expect exceedingly excellent entertainment and many
traders with all kinds of trinkets to tempt. Cont. P.14
