• Chelsea will be brimming with the horticultural highlights that make
it the world’s best flower show, including a healthy line up of show
gardens created by some of the world’s best designers, including
Robert Myers designing for Cancer Research UK, Ulf Nordfjell
designing for The Daily Telegraph, and Luciano Guibbilei designing
for Laurent-Perrier.
• First timers include: Wayne Hemmingway, fashion designer turned
urban space designer, who will be creating a display in the Great
Pavilion for Gateshead Council; Victoria Violas, Todd’s Botanics, and
Plant a Go Go, all of which will be exhibiting in the Great Pavilion; and
Aralia Garden Design who will be creating a courtyard garden for the
first time in 2009.
• Veterans of the show include: Hillier Nurseries and Landscapes who
has exhibited at Chelsea for over 63 years; Laurent Perrier, who will
return to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to create their eleventh show
garden; Blackmore & Langdon who has been exhibiting at Chelsea
since the show was held in the grounds of the Inner Temple.
• Exhibitors come from countries from all across the world including
Australia, South Africa, France, Jamaica, The Netherlands, Japan and
Barbados.
