R

ANCHERS AND LANDOWNERS ARE IN- vited and encouraged to attend

the Texas Section Society for Range Management (TSSRM) annual meet- ing, Oct. 11 to 13, Uvalde. Today, water is Texas’ most

critical resource. Rangelands in Texas are the state’s most abundant watersheds, discharging source water for most of our aquifers, rivers and streams. During this meeting, TSSRM members and range management professionals will look at what we understand and what we need to know about managing rangelands for sustained water yield. related to foods that fuel better health, satiety factors, behavior patterns and performance. “We explored the latest research and took a look at beef’s journey from

pasture to plate,” said Hawley Poinsett, registered dietitian and TBC senior manager of nutrition. “The workshop content was designed to educate and provide meaningful solutions to help attendees and their clients enjoy nu- trient-rich foods that can support a healthful, balanced and active lifestyle.” Working with infl uen-
