Cattle Raisers Leaders Discuss Issues With Conaway
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) President Richard Thorpe, Past Presidents Mark McLaughlin and Jimmy Powell, and Directors Charley Christensen and Arthur Uhl had a great visit with House Agriculture Commit- tee Chairman Mike Conaway and House Agriculture Com- mittee, Subcommittee on Livestock and Foreign Agriculture Chairman David Rouser in June at the San Angelo State Uni- versity, Management, Instruction and Research Center. They discussed fever ticks, chronic wasting disease (CWD), trade and other issues important to the cattle industry. We appreci- ate Conaway and Rouser for being strong voices for TSCRA in Washington, D.C.
