Dive into France worldwide
France is ever popular, but there are also 12 overseas islands and territories to explore, each with a touch of the exotic mixed with European sophistication in beautiful parts of the world.
Whether in the heart of the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean or in South America, France’s overseas territories offer unforgettable flavours and experiences. They are Saint-Pierre & Miquelon; Saint-Barthelemy; St Martin; The Island of Guadeloupe; Martinique; French Guiana; Mayotte; Reunion Island; New Caledonia; The Islands of Tahiti; and the southern and Antarctic French territories – and between them, they are home to 80% of France’s biodiversity. It is easy to get to France’s overseas territories thanks to
destination specialists such as Air Caraibes (for Antilles and Guyana), Air Austral (for Indian Ocean), Aircalin (for Pacific Ocean), Air Tahiti Nui (for French Polynesia) and Air France. Each of these guarantee visitors regular departures from Paris, easy connections from the UK, quality on-board services and modern high-performance fleets. So, with these options available, why not suggest your clients try a slice of France around the world!
St Martin Sandy beaches, activities within luscious nature, rich
heritage and a fun taste for partying combine to make this a very attractive Caribbean island. Here you can go zip-lining in the tropical forest at Loterie Farm, trek through the countryside on horse back, or simply sail to a hidden cove. The island hosts many events too,
such as the Billfish Tournament, a big game fishing challenge that takes place every June, and the Heineken Regatta, the Caribbean’s most famous sailing race. Also look out for the Mardis de Grand Case, an event held each Tuesday between January and May. It’s when Grand Case, a
former fishing village that has become the gastronomic capital of the Antilles, really comes to life, holding the island’s largest and most vibrant arts and crafts market.
