the glitz at Broadway comes to sea
Over recent years Norwegian has been making waves and getting standing ovations for its fully-staged Broadway musicals showcasing on its latest ships. When Norwegian Escape made its debut in October 2015, two new shows came into the limelight – the Duke Ellington big band sounds of After Midnight, and Million Dollar Quartet, inspired by the famed recording session on December 4, 1956, that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis
Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. On board Norwegian Epic, cruising in Europe this summer, guests can experience the dazzling costumes and disco sounds of Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical. And the entertainment rollcall continues across the fleet with the Broadway dance sensation Burn the Floor, Legally Blonde The Musical, Rock of Ages, The Cavern Club and much more.
Incredibly, Norwegian offers up to 22 bars and lounges on a single ship and bar-hopping guests should expect the unexpected. They can rock the night away in a recreation of Liverpool’s legendary Cavern Club exclusively on Norwegian Epic or go for the ultimate chill in an authentic Ice Bar. There’s a red hot dance scene in Bliss Ultra Lounge, a beach club ambience in the adults-only Spice H2O and a whole raft of other choices.
