Uniworld has introduced a brochure focusing on the river cruise line’s 16 family-friendly departures.
The online-only Generations
brochure is the line’s first to pull together its family itineraries in a dedicated programme. Uniworld began selling family-
focused itineraries in the UK last year, offering five departures for multigenerational groups. For 2016, that number has

grown to 16 departures, across nine itineraries, on European rivers including the Rhine,
Danube, Seine and Po. Six of the itineraries are new. The luxury line said it had seen
a rise in demand for multigenera- tional cruises in recent years. Children on the sailings have the chance to make desserts with the ship’s pastry chef, take a behind- the-scenes tour with the captain, taste local soft drinks with the ‘soda sommelier’ and take part in craft workshops, while the Young Travellers’ Lounge features a PlayStation, movies and sweets.
