Airways Holidays has extended its range of packages to Jersey and Guernsey for 2016 under a refreshed logo.

The Channel Islands specialist

has added its own charter flights from Liverpool to Guernsey for the summer season – the first for 20 years – and introduced Explorer breaks, Heritage and History holidays and spa breaks. The operator, owned by C I

Travel Group, has produced a 2016 brochure and is offering a raft of incentives to encourage agents to book packages. It offers flights

AIRWAYS: Wider range of breaks

from 28 airports as well as ferry travel out of Poole, Dorset. Sales director Gill McCarthy said the operator had enjoyed rapid sales growth in the last two years since securing exclusive preferred status to sell through Thomson and a preferred deal with Thomas Cook, in addition to working with independent agents. To reflect its growth, the brand has been modernised and now includes the strapline Discover the Channel Islands. McCarthy said there was still a

need to raise awareness among independents. The operator is hosting two fam trips, one for independents and one for Thomson agents in April.

To encourage peak-season bookings, Airways is offering £10 Love2shop vouchers on bookings made by February 29 on the new Liverpool flights and £50 per person off the first flight on June 4. Agents who book online before

February 29 will also be entered into a prize draw to win a four-star break in the Channel Islands. The Explorer Breaks include a

two-day island day pass and a half- day island tour in both islands, while history packages feature heritage passes. A Jersey Heritage and History package leads in at £311, including entry to the Jersey War Tunnels and a heritage pass,
