Sales Manager

The SriLankan team is seeking a dynamic individual to join us as Sales Manager based in the UK office.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Establishing strategies & plans to achieve revenue and market share goals to ensure maximum returns from the business opportunities.
• Planning and implementing pricing, distribution and promotional strategies in the market to achieve set revenue targets.
• Heading the field sales team and in house sales support team, to achieve set standards of customer/account servicing
The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements: • Bachelors Degree or Full professional qualification equivalent to a Degree in Marketing or related field and
• 3 years experience in the travel industry.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, proficiency in computer skills.

We are a very well-established luxury travel company based in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, and we are looking for a passionate and driven travel consultant to join our small exclusive team.
We specialise in worldwide tailor made destinations, tours and cruises. The applicant would need to come from a target motivated background and provide a courteous and professional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: • Arranging all aspects of the customer's holiday including flights, accommodation, packages, and ancillaries using various travel/booking systems to process holidays and domestic rail bookings.
• Use your product knowledge and experience to tailor your clients perfect trip
• Proactively sell worldwide destinations, packaging flights, hotels, cars, cruise and tours • Offer an exceptional high level of customer service • Dealing with administration requests, complaints and refunds • Ability to work under pressure in a targeted sales environment with the ability to be quick and resourceful in searching for a range of different options for the customer
• Manage and maintain all aspects of social media and online marketing, including websites and e-newsletters • Must be very flexible
Experience and Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years previous travel consultant experience • Previous GDS experience (Amadeus) but willing to cross train from other GDS
• Good worldwide travel and product knowledge Salary – Competitive/negotiable for the right applicant Hours: Monday – Friday 0930 – 1700 Holidays: 25 days including bank holidays

The award winning Travel Up Group (TUG PLC) offers a wide variety of holidays to a national client base. We are a busy call centre taking inbound calls from customers looking to book a holiday they have seen advertised on various travel websites. Due to expansion we are looking for enthusiastic , sales driven and customer focused individuals with experience in the European and Long haul market – GDS trained preferable.
The positions will be based in our head office in Aldermaston, Berkshire with possible home working opportunities.
We are offering a basic of 14-18k plus commission depending on experience with an OTE in excess of 30K plus 21 days holiday and bank holidays.
