With over 40,000 hand-picked holiday homes, across 29 European countries, we are Northern Europe’s largest self-catering holiday company. NOVASOL was founded back in 1968 as a one man business, selling cabin holidays in Norway out of a small basement in Copenhagen. Fast forward to 2015 and NOVASOL is a proud pan European company with over 40 years of experience, local offices across Europe and an ever growing number of customers, over 1.5 million in 2014! Key to our success in providing fantastic holidays is holding true to the core foundations laid many years ago, quality, service and reliability.

We are now looking to recruit two more roles to join our team in our Hammersmith office in London. Both roles will be key members of a small team that will be dedicated to the successful marketing and growth in sales, on and offline of our holiday homes to UK customers.

Sales & Commercial Executive

Reporting to the UK General Manager in Hammersmith, you will introduce successful new travel partners to NOVASOL, drive an increase in sales from existing partners, complete detailed competitor analysis & research, review our pricing and deliver forecasts, whilst providing first class customer service to all our partners and suppliers. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within the travel sector in a sales, commercial or a combined role.

Marketing Assistant

Reporting to the Marketing Executive in Hammersmith, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a Marketing career in the Travel industry! Your responsibilities will include creating content to improve SEO rankings, making changes to the UK website, creating newsletters, weekly social media posts, competitor analysis, administrative tasks and some direct customer interaction at travel shows. The role will also liaise with and be supported by the NOVASOL Marketing / E-commerce teams in Copenhagen.

Candidates for both roles will need to be self-motivated, organised, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), have the ability to learn quickly, be driven and have plenty of enthusiasm. A good knowledge of European travel destinations would be advantageous.

If you would like to see the job description and apply for a role please email Malcolm.hoad@novasol.com a copy of your CV and a covering letter including salary expectation.

The closing date for applications is the 31st of October 2015.

NOVASOL is proud to form part of the Wyndham Vacation Rentals family of brands, which includes a number of household names in the UK; Hoseasons, James Villa Holidays, Cottages 4 You & English Country Cottages.
