G2E PREVIEW G&D presents the Total Solution

Cash processes to increase productivity and efficiency for casinos of all sizes from the masters of high-volume currency handling

Winning productivity and efficiency for your casino operation

Large resort casinos usually take in various

currencies at each of their operations. Traditionally these receipts used to be processed at different in-house locations, involving the typical downsides of manual handling, moving boxes around, coordination, and wait times. With the availability of high- speed counting and sorting solutions, all cash processes can now be consolidated into one.

Integrated and centralized solution

With an innovative end-to-end solution, banknotes are counted, identified and authenticated, then sorted by denomination, series, orientation, and fitness for circulation – all in a single run. Gaming tickets are processed in the same run. As an important extra, used player cards and table chips can be

shredded if required. The system produces customized, intelligent

reports which management and accounting can access at any given time, since cash processing is integrated with the casino’s back- office systems. To check on the progress of cash operations, managers and supervisors just need to log in to the server from wherever they are. The integrated solution is rounded off by

According to past years’ experience, processes become up to three times faster, and at the same time much more accurate and secure. The number of single operations drops, freeing up resources that can be dedicated to other tasks. Once more, with an up-to-the-minute view of

the progress of each operation, managers and supervisors stay abreast of developments. This enables them to make the quick and effective decisions often required in day-to-day business.

Gamesman get ready to listen in LV

is how Managing Director, Mark Smith, previewed Gamesman’s attendance at the upcoming G2E show in Las Vegas. The international gaming equipment, components and systems manufacturer, part of Esterline Corporation, has a strong, year round presence in Vegas following its decision to open a dedicated office there in 2010. “September’s G2E will be five years to the month that we opened our US office” stated Mark Smith. “At the time it was a really big decision for the company but the benefits of being so close to our customers in what is one of the most dynamic gaming markets in the world, are immense. Over the five years, we have doubled the size of the facility and the US-based Gamesman team is headed by our

General Manager, Nick Walter who relocated from England to the States to open it and has been there ever since.” He continued: “A lot of what we do as a company is based around observing and in particular, listening to the market. The closer a company is to its customers the more it can listen and focus on delivering solutions tailored to meet specific needs, which is exactly how we operate, working very closely with our clients’ development teams. “Whilst we still produce a significant range of

off the shelf products, the emphasis is on working with clients to produce bespoke gaming solutions. Exhibitions such as the two G2Es in Vegas and Macau, plus ICE in London, are perfect events for us to achieve this. As a company we are removed from the game development process, instead, our job is to create what our customers visualise.” Gamesman will also be using Vegas week to bring its Target 25k fundraising activities ‘Stateside’. Launched at February’s ICE exhibition in London, Target 25k is a Gamesman campaign to raise £25,000 (US$39,000) in order to fund research into Mesothelioma, an aggressive form of lung cancer which the company’s Technical Director James Cove is receiving treatment for. The US fundraising event comprises an evening of poker taking place on 27 September at the Green Valley Resort. For more details and how to participate, contact natasha.kelly@gamesman.co.uk
