G2E PREVIEW

JCM marks 60 years on booth 3633

Innovative products on show at G2E to lead the company confidently into the next 60 years…

A

t G2E 2015, JCM Global will mark 60 years of creating innovative and industry-leading products that have revolutionized the gaming industry and created new global standards. It’s fitting

that leading the JCM Global team into G2E at such a momentous occasion is the man who created the product that made JCM a global powerhouse.

Terry Izawa [right] is JCM’s new President, although he is not new to the industry and his impact has been truly global. His first task at JCM was to design and develop the company’s first bill validator in the late 1980s. Other notable successes include the establishment of JCM’s overseas production facility for bill validators in China in 1995, and overseeing direct customer interfacing during the development of JCM’s multiple award- winning UBA bill validator.

Prior to becoming President, Izawa headed the company’s Research and Development Division, and he will continue to lead the charge for innovation in his new position.

Surrounding Izawa are John Garner, Chief

Financial Officer; David Kubajak, VP of Operations; and Tom Nieman, VP of Marketing and Sales.

At G2E, JCM will be showing a rich display of core

products that continue to transform the industry and help operators make better connections with their customers. Leading the way is the award-winning iVIZION bill validator. iVIZION is field-proven the world over in casinos of all sizes to increase security and customer satisfaction with its full-note Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology and anti-counterfeit

The GEN2 Universal also has three ports to

support all games, USB 2.0 full speed that is future GSA-compliant and IGT-compliant, and backward- compatible RS232 and NetPlex ports, meaning it is ready for today’s games and the next generation of downloadable server-based games.

“This is an exciting time at JCM,” Izawa said. “We

have an incredible strong foundation of core products in our portfolio, and we have a very keen eye sharply focused on the future.”

technology, highly evolved anti-stringing technology and 99%+ acceptance rate. The product continues to win contracts around the world, both for new operations and in competitor- replacement settings.

Helping to further the customer

connection is JCM’s line of printers, including the FutureLogic GEN2 and GEN2 Universal® printers. Both the GEN2 and GEN2 Universal are equipped with ITH (Intelligent Ticket Handling) technology that makes the cashout ticket available only after the ticket is fully printed internally and automatically burst; a larger paper capacity that saves money; IntelligentBezel System that detects blocks bezels and prevents jams; ProColor™ 2-color printing; and an expanded graphics memory.
